"Huawei is something that's very dangerous. You look at what they've done from a security standpoint, from a military standpoint, it's very dangerous."

It's very dangerous. But it can be included in the trade deal.

"So it's possible that Huawei even would be included in some kind of a trade deal. If we made a deal, I could imagine Huawei being possibly included in some form, some part of a trade deal."

Country vs. one private company--Huawei.

Something very strange about it, isn't it?

Did the US back off? No.
Instead, they started pressuring their allies to ban Huawei from 5G networks,
and even considered giving money to countries who refuse to sign up with Huawei.
Again I ask, WHY?
What is motivating the US to spend so much time and money on blocking Huawei?
