Coronavirus vaccine will not available anytime soon. But do we think about more longer term?

I don't really watching and reading from news media. So I might missed something.

But I don't think I heard anyone talking about this pandemic situation for a lot longer term.

Coronavirus cases were almost 5 million cases in worldwide. That means even if vaccine was success on human trail--now, mass production will take more time.
It means we must accept this situation for longer term--not just next year, possibly middle or end of next year.

I found this statement from the article--Here's why it's taking so long to develop a vaccine for the new coronavirus at February 17, 2020

WHO said it may be 18 months before a vaccine against the coronavirus is publicly available.

You can compare those number with about 3 weeks ago from the previous post--Anyone can get it and anyone can spread it. - Coronavirus COVID19 @ April 25, 2020

April 25 so about 24 days ago, 2,832,999 cases and 197,351 deaths. And now 4,895,278 cases and 320,188 deaths from COVID-19.

This situation is spread out to whole world. So you might think it wasn't that serious.

But you might change your mind from seeing this way--sorted by new cases and by country.

Opening the school is good idea for this pandemic?

Each country has very different situation from others. But did we really realise how serious the threat is?

If we think we realise the threat, how we already discussing about opening the school? Kids, teen and twenty-something won't be affect much from the coronavirus.

But can you open the school without any adult? How could that working out? Really?

It means kids, teens and twenty-something can carry the coronavirus. And spread them.

How can you be sure that those students will never carry the coronavirus?

We should promote online school, online self-study for longer term. Don't you think?

This pandemic will be longer than what we anticipate. So we should think about it for longer term.

Good thing is that nowadays you can find--and do many things from the internet. And no need teacher to be in school for teaching because teacher can teach through internet.

Several years ago, online--cyber university became well-known. So why not for the high school or even kindergarten.

P.S. I wrote the post just 2 days ago. But now coronavirus cases were already passed 5 millions--5,090,977. - May 21, 2020
