Total respect: #Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei says he would “be the first to protest” if China retaliates against #Apple, who he describes as the Chinese tech giant’s teacher. @Bloomberg #HuaweiFacts https://t.co/I56miauMdh— Huawei Facts (@HuaweiFacts) May 27, 2019
When I watched this interview, I felt that he is businessman and I felt he has quite good philosophy--I'm not sure this is proper explanation for it because different cultural expression.
And I am using the TweetDeck app and saw this reply from people.

Some people were talking like Huawei is doing all kind of criminal activity!?
I thought I missed something from that interview so I did find whole interview:
Billionaire Huawei Founder Defiant in Face of Existential Threat - Bloomberg @ May 27, 2019
After watched kind of full interview from that article. I am pretty sure that he is businessman and trying to be better person--no wonder Huawei became huge corporation.
Ren said he would object to any such move against his American rival.- quoted from Billionaire Huawei Founder Defiant in Face of Existential Threat - Bloomberg @ May 27, 2019
"That will not happen, first of all. And second of all, if that happens, I'll be the first to protest," Ren said in the interview. "Apple is my teacher, it's in the lead. As a student, why go against my teacher? Never."
Missing part is this:
Ren said "Apple is the world's leading company. If there was no Apple, there would be no mobile internet. If there was no Apple to help show us the world, we would not see the beauty of this world." - interview video from https://twitter.com/tictoc/status/1132770939744210948
I probably have different perspective but we should see the world with more broader view--broader mind.
Not everything is money, you know.
And if Huawei is the company with criminal activity all the time, how international--interpol? organisation don't do anything about it. And only.. and only US can find that out???
So I retweeted with this:
Sadly. People were way and way too much brainwashed. "If there was no Apple to help show us the world, we would not see the beauty of this world."
Maybe I see world differently but competition makes better for all of us. If you understand that very meaning, you will agree..
